WARN Industries has released a new concept in winches.

To be known as the WARN PowerPlant Dual Force, the winch will be sold in two specifications: the 9500lb capacity HP model for medium-size and/or recreational vehicles, and the 12000lb capacity HD model for the ‘big truck’ user such as farmers, miners and construction workers.

Each of these winches has an in-built, high-quality, air compressor with a pressure regulator, integrated intercooler, 6.3 metres of air hose, tyre chuck and pressure guage. Available accessories include tyre deflators, extra-length hose, and quick-connect studs and coupler. For users needing instant high-volume air for air tools, re-seating of tyres, and numerous other requirements, WARN has 9.4 litre ‘hot dog’ storage tanks and all necessary hardware to allow easy fitment.

The compressor has a peak pressure of 100 psi and can pump 12 cfm at 0 psi and 5 cfm at 90/100 psi.

Why buy a PowerPlant instead of a winch and a separate compressor?

1. A decent-sized compressor is going to take up valuable space in the engine bay, cabin or cargo area. On the WARN PowerPlant, the compressor doesn’t take up extra ‘floor space’.

2. Being mounted right at the front of the vehicle means the compressor is always very accessible.

3. As part of the winch, the mounting is very secure and the chance of theft is greatly reduced.

4. Unlike many air compressor kits on the market, the WARN compressor is built to WARN’s high standards of manufacture. This means the PowerPlant buyer can be sure he/she is buying the best quality and is backed by WARN, one of the most highly-regarded companies in North America.
